SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS & CART SYSTEM

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

  • Shopping Cart & Stock: Our site utilizes a live shopping cart system. Placing an item in your shopping cart does not reserve the inventory or lock the price. An order is only secured and confirmed once checkout is completed, payment is successfully processed, and an official confirmation email is issued.

  • Prohibited Use: You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.

SECTION 2 - SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

We are pleased to offer complimentary standard shipping worldwide on all orders over $30.

  • Estimated Delivery Times:

    • UNITED STATES (Domestic): Standard (7-10 Business Days) | DHL Standard (3-6 Business Days) | Express via DHL/FedEx (3-5 Business Days).

    • INTERNATIONAL: Standard (8-10 Business Days) | Express via DHL/FedEx (3-6 Business Days).

  • Fulfillment & Tracking: Orders are standardly processed and shipped within 2 business days (customized or bespoke items require additional processing time). Tracking details will be automatically emailed or sent via SMS upon dispatch. GIC is closed on weekends and major holidays.

  • Shipping Protection: We partner with Route to offer optional third-party shipping insurance at checkout, covering package loss, damage, or theft during transit. GIC is not liable for packages officially marked as "Delivered" by carriers (USPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.) but misplaced or stolen post-delivery. Any fulfillment discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of the delivery date.

SECTION 3 - INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES

GIC ships to over 220 countries. For international orders outside the United States, the recipient acts as the importer of record and must comply with all local laws and customs regulations.

  • Import Fees: Any import taxes, customs duties, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  • Refused Shipments: If a shipment is refused due to unexpected customs fees, the total cost of the order—including all original and return shipping charges incurred—will not be refunded.

  • Commercial Valuation: Orders subject to sales promotions will be declared at their true commercial value rather than a zero or 100% discounted rate for legal customs clearance.

SECTION 4 - HIP-HOP JEWELRY MATERIAL & WEAR DISCLAIMER

We specialize in premium streetwear and hip-hop fashion jewelry.

  • Product Representation: We make every effort to display the colors, stones (CZ/simulated diamonds), and detailing of our jewelry as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee your monitor's display will perfectly reflect the actual textures or tones.

  • Material Wear & Allergy Warning: Our products utilize high-quality materials including gold/silver plated brass, stainless steel, and 925 sterling silver. It is the customer's sole responsibility to review product descriptions for material contents prior to purchasing. GIC is not responsible or liable for any allergic reactions, skin discoloration (turning green), or tarnishing/fading caused by natural skin acidity, sweat, contact with moisture, perfumes, chemicals, or improper jewelry maintenance.

SECTION 5 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

  • Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

  • We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any product, part, or content thereof) without notice at any time.

  • We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

SECTION 6 - ANTI-FRAUD & ORDER REFUSAL

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us for any reason at any time.

  • Risk Mitigation: Because we deal with highly sought-after streetwear jewelry, our systems utilize advanced fraud detection. GIC reserves the right to immediately cancel and refund orders flagged as high-risk, suspicious, or potentially fraudulent by our payment processors without prior notice. All fraudulent transactions will be reported to the proper authorities.

  • Quantity Limits: We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order (including orders under the same customer account, credit card, or shipping address).

SECTION 7 - CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • Modifications: To cancel or modify an order, email us at service@thegicshop.com immediately. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered our fulfillment pipeline.

  • 30-Day Policy: Refunds or exchanges are available within 30 days from the delivery date. Items must be completely unused, unworn, in resalable condition, and in original packaging.

  • Return Costs: Unless the item received is verified as faulty, defective, or incorrect, original shipping fees and return postage costs are strictly non-refundable.

  • Sale Merchandise: Items purchased during promotional sales or events are eligible for exchange or store credit only. We do not issue cash refunds for discounted items.

SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS & OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide you with access to optional third-party tools or applications (such as tracking systems, review plugins, or payment extensions) which we neither monitor nor have control over. You acknowledge that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “as available” without any warranties. We are under no obligation to maintain comments in confidence, pay compensation, or respond. Breach of these terms will result in immediate termination of your access.

We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The service and all products delivered to you are provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any warranties or conditions of merchantability, durable quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. In no case shall GIC, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or contractors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind—including lost profits, lost revenue, or replacement costs—arising from your use of the service or any products procured herein.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GIC and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service. In the event that any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severed, and it shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
